TamuTamu Kitchen is working towards a project called DARAJAH.
Daraja means bridge in Kiswahili the national language of Kenya (but spoken through out most of East Africa) Jah is God, the most high in the Rasta movement. With Jah (God) we can accomplish many and any thing. At TamuTamu Kitchen we are focusing on helping women, children and those less fortunate in Africa.

It is a hard job trying to put together clothes, blankets and supplies for a whole village by myself I need your help. I am sure there are many clothes in your home that you have not even looked at in years as well as sweaters or blankets. Whatever it is that you choose to donate it will go towards a good cause and help someone who doesn't have much. There are children sleeping at night with no blankets, children as well as grown people walking around half clothed because they have no choice but to wear one garment until it falls off their body. Children going to school but they have no books to write on or pens to express themselves for that matter.
It is heart breaking to see the children especially going without a simple thing like a blanket.
Please find the time to donate something it can be a pencil or notebook and it will go well appreciated. Being poor is not easy and is not a choice.
We have the choice however to give some help and hope for tomorrow and the next days to come. Help DARAJAH AFRICA in this small mission that is greatly needed.
